Cholesterol Experiment Day 13
Morning supplements:
- 500mg Slo-Niacin
- 2,000mg Vitamin C
- 200mcg Chromium Polynicotinate
Ate CBO today, with some grilled salmon and collard greens for dinner courtesy of my wife. Snagged a min-pack of peanut M&M’s from the kids’ candy bag.
Went to Muay Thai after work. For the better part of a year, I was pretty regular about attending 2x a week. Then came elbow surgery to remove a bone spur, then a torn triceps tendon, and suddenly 9 months had gone by. I went a few times at the end of August, but was still having elbow pain, so stopped. Last night was the first visit since then.
Muay Thai is a young man’s sport. In Thailand, Muay Thai fighters retire before age 24 or 25. Not that I’m a Muay Thai fighter…. Nevertheless, the class is very rigorous, much more than your standard karate or Tae-Kwon-Do class, and the resulting aches and pains are even more pronounced if you’re an infrequent attendee. Coupled with the fact that I’m almost always the oldest person in the room and I’m often left wondering why I attend. Stupidity is the primary answer that comes to mind.
Evening Supplements:
