Recipe: 1,000+ Calories the Easy Way

Oatmeal-with-RaisinsHere’s a quick and easy breakfast recipe for people looking to add calories. Obviously this is for lifters trying to gain, not cut.

First mix:

  • 1 Cup Quaker Instant Oats
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk (whole milk is 3.25% fat)

Microwave for 1 minute then mix in:

  • 1 heaping Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 heaping Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins

Some raisin alternatives: jam or jelly, apple sauce, blueberries, cranberries, blackberries or cut up strawberries, peanut butter, chopped banana

Microwave another 30 seconds and enjoy.
